Cross-Border Collaboration: How CorporateConnections United Japan, Taiwan, and Korea
A Meeting That Sparked Opportunity
When Satoshi Kitada, CEO of Y’s Giken Co., Ltd., attended his first CorporateConnections event—the National Conference in Fukuoka, Japan (Sept 2024)—he met Andrew Sung from CC Taipei 1. Andrew was seeking a gateway into the Japanese market, and Satoshi, impressed by his passion and sincerity, introduced him to a potential business partner. This introduction marked the beginning of a powerful collaboration.
From Connection to Joint Venture
What started as a simple introduction evolved into a strategic partnership. Andrew later proposed another business opportunity involving his Korean network and invited Satoshi to join. Trust built through CorporateConnections made the decision easy. Today, they are preparing to launch test marketing in Japan and establish a joint venture company across Japan, Taiwan, and Korea to import a global brand product (currently confidential).
Future Plans: Expanding Horizons
Beyond the initial product launch, Satoshi and Andrew envision leveraging their joint venture to import and export products across multiple countries, creating a robust platform for international trade.
